y philosophy is to be as independant as possible, do not owe – own, and to support your local businesses and services. I strive to provide the best service that I can at my music studios and the best products that I can turn out through my crafts.

Current hard times are nothing new for me. The only way to survive is to get through one day at a time, plan ahead but don’t stress out over what may happen tomorrow. Let tomorrow get here in it’s own time. Living this way has allowed me to be debt free all my life. I do not have all the “things” that most people have and I will never have the income that most people feel is absolutely necessary. I’ve learned to barter with my neighbors, ask for help when necessary and to give help when it is needed. That doesn’t mean that I don’t come up against hurdles that seem impossible to climb over or problems that hold me back…….that’s part of living. However, I have some security in my ability both financially and intellectually to handle them.

To continue being able to handle problems requires practice, so just like I tell my students, you have to keep at it a little bit each day. This is why I have added a retail side of my crafts to the site. As I refine how I want this part of my studio to grow, I will continue to learn. If you don’t continue to learn, you grow stagnant and the brain will let you down.

Quite a bit of what I make goes into the gift basket for the students in my music studios. Most of those items are made from patterns that I design myself. Some of these patterns are easy, can be made in a few minutes to an hour and will be offered as a “freebie”.  Other, more complicated or more involved patterns can be purchased through PayPal.com and details on how to do that are posted with each pattern offered for sale.

Generally there will be new items coming out around the different holidays throughout the year. This reflects the need to have things for the students to “purchase” for their families and themselves with the points they earn at their lessons. As I have time, there will be more general items offered in a variety of venues.  Suggestions or requests are welcome and if you leave your email on the post, I will try to reply as soon as possible.
